Hourly Pay Range $29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  0800 - 1630, rotating weekends

• Operate a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists.
• Assist physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
• Explain procedures to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Deliver and ensure customer service in all aspects of the job.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred.
• License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
• Certifications:
  
  Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school. Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross. At minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification.
• Experience:
  
  Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations. Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, preferred.
