Payroll Coordinator - Temporary

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are seeking to hire a Payroll Coordinator - TEMPORARY (approximately 3 months).

• $18 to $20 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.

Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Payroll processing experience required.
• Knowledge of Illinois wage and hour laws required.
• Working knowledge of a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of UKG and Workforce Dimensions preferred.

Payroll Coordinator Job Summary:

• Prepare biweekly payroll.
• Work with department heads to clarify, paid-time-off, overtime and verify missing timeclock punches.
• Calculate termination pay and any required adjustments.
• Process referral bonuses.
• Prepare payroll related reports, as needed.
• Maintain salaried exempt Paid-Time-Off spreadsheets.
• Maintain and approve Nursing Agency invoices.
