Reporting to the IHT HVAC Manager, the Supervisor, Field Operations ensures high‑quality customer experience, conducts inspections for quality and safety, and supervises day‑to‑day operations. The role assists the Field Service Manager in setting performance goals, safety, and regulatory compliance for direct reports of technicians and plumbers.
The position is based in Naperville, IL. A regular in‑office hybrid model (Mon‑Thu in office, Fri remote) is required.
Responsibilities- Inspect HVAC and plumbing jobs, including installation for quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Partner with service manager and safety manager to ensure line of business policies are followed in the field.
- Create structure and process for job‑site visits to inspect S&R, maintain and install equipment for quality, identify potential hazards, and ensure customers receive copies of work orders, permits, and new furnace stickers.
- Take photos, document findings with an action plan, and report up to management.

Experience And Qualifications- 5+ years HVAC installation and field experience.
- Organizational and time‑management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to lead direct reports positively.
- Comfortable with technology, including software and report‑writing knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites.
- iPad use.
- High School diploma/GED required and HVAC certification or vocational/skill training experience in HVAC.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
