Senior Account Executive

The Senior Account Executive, Red Vest Media owns and grows a book of business across a known portfolio of vendor advertisers. This sales role leads the full selling cycle and is accountable to deliver a number while building deep client relationships and navigating the many teams that contribute to budget decisions: shopper marketing, ecommerce, digital, brand marketing, and agency partners. You will use retail and media data to uncover business needs, recommend relevant onsite and offsite solutions and help vendors connect with consumers along the path to purchase.

Within Redvest Media, you will partner with merchandising, category marketing, media planning, media buying and analytics teams to deliver campaigns that meet client objectives. Success is measured through stronger vendor partnerships, revenue growth and an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.

• Own and grow advertising revenue across a portfolio of vendor advertiser accounts
• Lead the selling cycle and develop account growth strategies
• Build trusted client relationships across marketing, brand, sales, shopper marketing, and agency partners
• Use data to identify media opportunities and solve business challenges
• Recommend media solutions aligned with vendor objectives
• Lead cross functional partners through campaign planning and execution
• Resolve campaign performance issues and vendor concerns
• Maintain an accurate revenue pipeline and forecast
• Represent the media network at vendor and industry events

You are a consultative seller who combines client leadership, analytical thinking and digital media expertise to deliver measurable growth. You communicate clearly, influence effectively and bring cross functional teams together around client goals.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Six years of relevant experience, including four years in digital media or advertising
• Consultative selling experience with demonstrated sales results
• Experience with retail, ecommerce, shopper marketing or digital media clients
• Ability to interpret retail media measurement that connects marketing to sales
• Strong client leadership, relationship building and influencing skills
• Analytical ability to evaluate and optimize media campaigns
• Project management, communication and presentation skills

This position is remote, with frequent expected travel to HQ. Our ideal candidate is in the Chicagoland area with the ability to come to the office as needed to advance the business and meet with clients. Candidates residing in approved states will also be considered (including IL, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio) with the expectation of frequent travel to HQ to advance the business and meet with clients.

• Experience working with shopper or national advertising agencies
• Ability to travel frequently and as needed to advance client relationships

Compensation Details: $137700 - $175650 per year
