Ready to join in? We are looking for a part‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a busy spine team. The position provides 24‑29 hours per week and requires flexibility to travel to clinics located in Joliet and Naperville, IL. Experience in spine is a plus. You will provide unparalleled customer service in an outpatient clinical setting and work with a growing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Close collaboration with the existing team.
  • Assist the physician in clinic and OR settings.
  • Assess patient health status, determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Utilize practice technology, including electronic health record, dictation, and outcomes tools.
  • Provide medical care as delegated by the physician.
  • Educate patients and families; provide continuity of care.
  • Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile medical data.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests such as X‑ray, ECG, and laboratory tests; interpret results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans; record progress notes.
  • Travel with the Physician as required.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, emotional issues, and health maintenance.
Requirements
  • BA/BS, MS preferred; graduate of an AMA‑accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Illinois state PA or NP license, or willingness to apply.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
  • NPs will require RNFA to assist in the OR.
  • Current CPR certification.
Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range: $60,000 – $83,375 annualized.

Compensation at MOR is determined by many factors, including experience, education, certifications, geographic location, market data, and internal equity. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
