Account Executive for Fire Alarm Systems
in Naperville, Illinois
Job DescriptionThompson Electronics has been selling Edwards Fire Alarm systems for 45 years. We need a high energy candidate to assist our customers and prospects in purchasing the right fire alarm system for their buildings. We have hundreds of existing customers and opportunities. You would meet with customers, engineering design professionals, building managers, municipal authorities and contractors on a regular basis and assist them in designing, specifying and purchasing the best solution.
You would be part of a top notch team of fire alarm professionals to design, program, install and inspect these systems. Sales territory will be northern Illinois from Indiana to Iowa borders excluding Chicago area. You will be supported by a team of project managers, engineers, programmers and electronics technicians.
- Technical sales experience
- Bachelor's degree – technical or business
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Edwards Fire Alarm systems knowledge and training
- NICET II or higher (NICET I required within first 90 days; training will be paid)
- Fire Alarm sales experience
- Competitive base salary

Edwards Sales and NFPA training provided. NICET preparation training and bonus for Level II-IV achievement.

From $70,200 per year
