Diesel Service Technician

We are seeking a Diesel Service Technician to diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul emergency vehicles including ambulances and fire apparatus.

• Diagnose and repair emergency vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic, and annual testing.
• Identify parts and supplies needed for repair, coordinating with FSI parts departments.
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
• Document service steps performed to complete diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Demonstrate and provide quality customer service at all times.

• Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
• EVT, ASE, Cummins experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.
