Must have Florida CNA certification !! Full-time Position with multiple responsibilities. Primary job responsibilities as Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator
- Prepare monthly and daily schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
- Take call‑ins while on duty and find replacements for staff shortages.
- Update the master schedule with daily changes.
- Maintain records of absenteeism and point accumulation and report to the Director of Nursing.
- Relay all leaves of absence, special requests, vacation, and holiday requests to HR.
- Obtain appropriate approval for time‑off requests, shift trades, and vacation requests.
- Attend weekly staffing meetings and report staffing summaries, open positions, Medicare hours, and hours per day to the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Human Resources Manager.
- Review daily punch details, compare to the master schedule, make necessary changes, review float reports, and submit payroll details to the Director of Nursing.
- Revise forms as needed.
- Place orders with IHM in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a list of employee telephone numbers.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly staffing summary reports.
- Maintain clerical supplies, equipment, manuals and meeting minutes for the department of nursing.
- Maintain logs of hours worked in the distinct unit and available positions in the department.
- Order, distribute and maintain supplies and equipment for continuous and timely resident care related services.

The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels in the nursing department on a twenty‑four hour basis according to administrative requirements and in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, Solaris Health Care’s established policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent required;
Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Florida required.
Clerical skills, typing skills and strong math skills, required. Staffing and scheduling experience and computer skills, preferred.
