This Operations Analyst I position supports the Florida Department of Health in Collier County's All Hazards Disaster Preparedness Program. The role handles public health preparedness logistics, safety and loss prevention coordination, emergency management planning, and facilities support. The analyst works full-time under the Disaster Preparedness Manager and participates in training, emergency response, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key qualifications:- Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation
- CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 3 months of hire
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Previous disaster preparedness and response experience
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and work flexible hours including emergency duty
