School Age Child Care Instructional Counselors Position Summary

The School Age Enrichment Leader position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading non‑profit organization committed to strengthening the communities in Collier County through its core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

The School Age Enrichment Leader is a vital member of a team of people with the goal of providing excellent care for school‑aged children (K‑5th grade) during out‑of‑school hours, holidays, and camp days. Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, the leader will be responsible for direct supervision of children, implementation of planned daily activities, and maintenance of all aspects of the program environment.

The leader will make every effort to develop and foster a positive relationship with the children, parents, school personnel, and community members.

• Golden Gate Elementary School
• Parkside Elementary School

• Direct supervision of children during out‑of‑school hours, holidays, and camp days.
• Implementation of planned daily activities.
• Maintenance of all aspects of the program environment.
