Worship Leader

Overview

This is an ideal position for someone who has served as a worship leader but is looking for opportunities to grow and develop in all aspects of church ministry, and to serve closely with an experienced senior pastor and associate pastor who are committed to their personal, spiritual and professional development.

• Serve alongside the pastoral team in planning the weekly worship service (currently one service at 10am). We typically have an opening song, plus three songs in the main set with another closing song that may be a reprise.
• Familiarity with multi-tracks or loop community is preferred, but we can train them.
• Prepare Pro Presenter slides for the worship and sermon each week. We can also do the training on how to use Pro Presenter.
• Coordinate and oversee the volunteers serving on the worship and production team (Musicians, audio/video support, technical operations).

• Qualifications that we are looking for include the ability to sing and play an instrument, being a servant-leader, able to select a variety of songs from biblically sound sources.

This is a part-time paid position, 10-12 hours/week, at $25/hour. There are many service oriented jobs in the area, including hospitality, resorts, restaurants and retail.
