Customer Service Rep
As the Guest Services Supervisor, you support the seamless operation of key guest service areas at the zoo. Your focus is on assisting in the delivery of exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and enhancing the overall visitor experience. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and educational environment that aligns with the zoo's mission of wildlife conservation and visitor education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Management of all guest entrance functions, including the efficient processing of group arrivals, ticketing transactions, and membership verifications or sales.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing for the department.
- Support the hiring, training, management, and morale of the Guest Services team.
- Address customer issues and complaints as required.
- Fill in for guest service representative roles as needed.
- Handle opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with cash management and banking operations.
- Ensure area cleanliness.
- Answer phones and respond to emails accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to take directions.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- The employee must frequently move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended stand for long periods of time.
- Operate Zoo vehicles.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate and/or exchange information.
- Consistent operation and manipulation of objects, tools, and controls.
