Hygiene Assistant

We’re looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join Grand Lely Dental Care in Naples, FL. This full‑time role is ideal for those with FL EFDA certification and at least one year of experience assisting in a dental setting.

• Greet and welcome patients; maintain comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patients’ health histories to deliver quality care.
• Assist hygienists with a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.
• Prepare treatment rooms: set up, restock instruments, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Partner with providers and the team to follow office systems and maximize workflow.

• On‑the‑job training and possible additional certification per state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Team player who can thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Undergo HIPAA training and protect PHI as required.

• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Can lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability for virtual or in‑person training sessions as scheduled.
• Must undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test during pre‑employment; standard requirement for dental office positions.
