Job Title: Creative Director / Lead Designer

Hours: Monday‑Thursday 9‑5:30 pm, Friday 9‑5 pm

Position Overview: The Creative Director / Lead Designer will oversee the creative vision and execution of interior design projects and team, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity, technical expertise in construction, and strong leadership to manage the design team and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in interior design, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, and a deep understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership
    :
    Develop and execute the creative vision for interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
  • Project Management:
    Lead end‑to‑end project execution, from concept development and space planning to material selection and final installation.
  • Design Development
    :
    Create detailed design plans, mood boards, renderings, and presentations to communicate concepts to clients and team members.
  • Construction Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Team Supervision
    :
    Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance on design techniques, project execution, and professional development.
  • Client Relations
    :
    Build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting design concepts, addressing feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control
    :
    Oversee the quality of all design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Trend Awareness:
    Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of 4 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing high‑end residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Construction Knowledge:
    Proven experience in construction processes, including reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and collaborating with construction teams.
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    :
    Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools. Knowledge of Design Manager software is a plus.
  • Leadership
    :
    Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire design teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Communication
    :
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Location & Availability
    :
    Must be located in Naples, FL, or willing to relocate, and available to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM ‑ 5:30 PM.

    Strong aesthetic sense, with a keen eye for color, texture, and spatial arrangements, and a passion for creating functional yet beautiful spaces.
