Under the general supervision of a school principal, to assist the Principal in providing leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of a school to promote the educational development and achievement of students, in accordance with Collier County School Board policies, administrative procedures, rules, regulations, and applicable law.
Essential Functions- Assist in developing and administering school programs aligned with District goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership to staff for ongoing evaluation and improvement of educational programs, including curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Promote a safe and conducive school environment for instruction and student learning.
- Continuously update professional knowledge through seminars, workshops, research, and professional meetings.
- Encourage staff professional growth and experimentation with new teaching strategies.
- Coordinate work of school staff and district program leaders to develop and implement instructional practices.
- Assess student learning regularly and work with staff to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse needs, including students with special needs.
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, maintaining personnel files, administering collective bargaining agreements, and addressing human resource issues.
- Foster parental involvement and ensure effective communication with students and parents.
- Ensure student conduct and attendance meet district standards and policies.
- Supervise and evaluate staff and make recommendations for improvement and employment decisions.
- Assist in managing the school budget and financial affairs according to district policies.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent, or other central office administrators.

Education- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- Minimum of five years of full-time experience in a certificated position
- Florida Certification in Educational Leadership or School Principal
- Extensive successful teaching experience with at least five years in a certificated or district position
