Assistant Controller

iWorld Professionals is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Controller for our client to support the Controller in overseeing day-to-day financial operations for a premier hospitality, club, and community-based organization. If you’re an experienced accounting professional who enjoys both hands-on accounting and higher-level financial analysis, and who is ready to grow into a leadership role, then this is the position for you!

You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits and budgeting, and partnering cross-functionally with operational leaders. Experience in hospitality, HOA, club, or property-based accounting environments is highly valued.

• Support daily accounting activities including cash management, journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction review
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile operating, reserve, and investment accounts
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, member billing, and revenue recognition
• Help maintain strong internal controls and proper segregation of duties
