Oncology Medical Director

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Oncology Center of Excellence, ensuring the delivery of worldclass, patient-centered care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative treatment protocols, new program development, and clinical research
Provide medical oversight and supervision of the clinical operations at the cancer centers
Foster a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork among staff, promoting a patients-first approach
Provide mentorship and support professional development for physicians in the group
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, and healthcare organizations
Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices, clinical quality, and safety performance, including CoC accreditation standards

Stay aponsibilities:breast of emerging trends and advancements in oncology, applying this knowledge to drive program operations and growth

Work collaboratively with the cancer service line administrator in a dyad relationship

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Board-certified in Medical Oncology/Hematology
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Medical Director or Division Chief
Strong clinical and business acumen, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and families
Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of oncology
