The Radiographer Orthopedics HSS is responsible for producing quality radiographic images and providing exceptional patient care with respect, compassion, and professionalism.

• Demonstrate competency in fluoroscopy during surgical procedures following radiation safety policies.
• Produce images with proper technique, positioning, and equipment performance.
• Perform diagnostic procedures with minimal exposure.
• Maintain efficiency and image quality standards.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Provide patient care adhering to established standards, considering patient age and needs.
• Use EMR and PACS systems proficiently.
• Ensure proper maintenance and quality assurance of equipment.
• Recognize limitations and seek assistance when needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Evaluate radiographs for technical quality.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered ARRT R (Radiography).
• Licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Florida.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.
