The Massage Therapist will provide massage services to the members of the Wellness Center(s) by appointment.

• Provides clients with the type of massage therapy which they require.
• Perform all massage therapy sessions with a high degree of quality, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Provide and maintain a clean and safe massage environment.
• Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with peers, supervisors, clients and management.
• Accepts personal responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
• Treats all clients with respect and in a professional manner.
• Accepts personal responsibility for maintaining knowledge in respective field.
• Understands NCH and departmental procedures and legal requirements of releasing information.
• Understands the importance of client’s files and documentation contained therein.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of the phone system including voicemail.
• Demonstrates basic computer knowledge as it relates to scheduling, data entry, and client based information.
• Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills through verbal and non‑verbal communication with clients, peers, and other staff.
• Provides feedback regarding problem solving and conflict resolution, and utilizes proper chain‑of‑command to assist.
• Provides prompt and accurate information to facilitate payment for services provided.
• Actively assists and supports departmental activities to ensure that operational and salary expenses are equal to or less than approved budget.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited program in massage therapy required.
• Licensed as a Massage Therapist in the State of Florida.
• CPR, AED certification required upon hire. Within 90 days must complete CPR, AED, and First Aid through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 6 months of experience in massage therapy preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge: ability to operate a PC, create/save/print documents, input data.
