Job SummaryThe pharmacists will provide good quality pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to provide pharmaceutical care services.
- Monthly inspections are on time and accurate.
- Maintains the highest degree of accuracy as measured by lack of variances. Actively reviews patient medication profiles for demographic completeness, ADRs, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, formulary compliance and therapeutic appropriateness.
- Interventions.
- ADR’s and Variances.
- Technician Supervision.
- Participates in at least one; case presentation; community service; P&T presentation or project; DUE;
Policy and Procedure development or training; technician/pharmacist training. - Understands the legal/regulatory requirements related to the release of information. Able to use the information systems pertinent to the job.
- Creative Problem Solving – Examples of Achievement.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- State of Florida Pharmacist license required.
- One year of hospital experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer knowledge:
Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
