Full‑time and Part‑time openings. Salary up to $23/hr the Arlington is Naples’ premier address for luxury retirement living and a Life Plan Community offering residents an array of amenities. General Summary

The Gatehouse Attendant/EMT is responsible for ensuring all residents and visitors are greeted and welcomed in a warm, inviting fashion. They are also responsible for verifying and documenting the scheduled presence of all third‑party contractors, visitors, vendors, and guests entering the property and ensuring they know where to go and who to ask for.

Job Duties
  • Ensure all interactions with those entering and leaving premises are done embracing our hospitality promises.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all entering and leaving the premises and ensure that their visit/stay exceeded expectations.
Other Required Duties
  • Respond to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel to assure that security procedures meet the needs of the facility.
  • Assist with special security needs as they arise involving employees, visitors, and other community members.
  • Provide written reports of any community incident during the shift that the Director of Facilities and other administration may need to be aware of.
  • Maintain entrances in the facility for safe passage at all times; shovel and keep clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.
  • Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor and perform specific duties assigned.
  • Make scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
Qualifications
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • EMT Classification Required
  • Class D License preferred
  • Available on short notice
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Must be able to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol.
  • Must have or be willing to be trained in first responder and first aid training.
  • Exceptional hospitality and customer service focus is a MUST.
