Radiographer responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images following established guidelines and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures using digital equipment.
- Ensure accurate positioning, proper technique, and correct identification for imaging.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, reporting issues and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self.
- Provide patient care, education, and ensure patient identification accuracy.
- Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, Powershare, Epic, and other computer systems.
- Assist with training new staff and students, fostering a positive professional environment.
- Follow department guidelines and regulations, including JCAHO standards.
- High School diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- Registered ARRT R (Radiography) and licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills, good eye-hand coordination, and the ability to organize patient care.
Knowledge of radiologic sciences, patient care, radiation safety, teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to continuous learning.
