Varnum LLP seeks to hire an attorney to join the Real Estate Practice Team in our Naples, FL office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing office of a highly regarded Michigan-based law firm with a national client base. The firm will provide financial support to attorney candidates outside of Florida who wish to take the Florida bar and relocate to Southwest Florida.

• 5+ years of significant experience in real‑estate law, preferably with demonstrated ability to lead transactions.
• Experience with the acquisition, sale and financing of commercial real estate.
• Proficient drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases and other real‑estate related documents.
• Significant experience with condominiums and HOA matters.
• Excellent academic credentials and a strong client‑service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
• Admission to the Florida bar is required. Candidates not licensed in Florida must be willing to obtain admission.

• Lead and manage real‑estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
• Provide counsel on condominium and HOA related matters.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support business‑development initiatives.
• Participate in the firm’s growth strategy within the Real Estate Practice Team.
