Lead a skilled team operating Mazak and other CNC equipment — including lathes, mills, drills, and multi-axis machines — ensuring optimal performance and precision.
Apply deep understanding of tooling, fixturing, cutting parameters, and process optimization to drive efficiency and product quality.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability across all machining operations.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles, Pareto analysis, and root cause problem-solving to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance KPIs across the value stream.
Schedule and prioritize machining programs based on complexity and cycle times; balance production flow by building appropriate inventory buffers and supermarkets.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and align production capabilities with business goals.
