Reports to:

Manufacturing Manager

• Operate assigned precision CNC machinery.
• Receive process traveler, verify revisions match, and review completed prior operations on all paperwork.
• Receive material, load pallets and robot as necessary.
• Check parts for conformance according to inspection plan and blueprint using measuring instruments confidently.
• Verify the correct program is running on the machine and that revisions match the traveler.
• Red tag units that are out of specification (OOS) and submit to the Quality Manager.
• Observe line clearance procedures.
• Ensure work area, machine, tooling, and parts are cleaned regularly and free from excess oil; return tooling to proper area.
• Maintain quality and acceptable production outputs.
• Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance on assigned machine based on established standards, and record it.
• Offset the machine to the blueprint for part conformance as needed.
• Replace tooling at the machine when required.
• Attend all assigned meetings.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• One – Three years of machinist experience required, preferably within a medical device company.
• Exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 as it relates to the job.
• Time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Knowledge of testing equipment, statistical methods, and control plans.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• High School or equivalent.
• General knowledge of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, /OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, plug and tread Go/No Go gauges).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
• Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands, and handling frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Skilled in setting priorities that move projects efficiently, achieving customer and quality objectives.
• Skilled in working independently with minimal direction.
• Reasoning skills, including comparison, classification, analysis, and coordination while minimizing duplication.
