The employee in this class is responsible for creating advertising campaigns, pricing strategies and targeting the demographic data of their target audience. They work with employees at all levels to develop creative campaigns that embrace our company culture and out employees.

Must be able to work collaboratively with others. The marketing specialist will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. A Marketing specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.

The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our brand recognition, reputation and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
  • Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies.
  • Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers.
  • Investigate the performance of a company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the recommendations to management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through networking and prospecting.
  • Create goals and objectives in order to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels.
  • Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization and content development.
  • Manage and develop schedule for social media.
  • Operate a personal computer, telephones, copiers and other general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, to include the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other system software.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Considerable Knowledge of: Standard office practices and procedures;
Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to: Work independently and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment. Ability to stay composed, positive, and objective. Be creative and innovative.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in arts, or marketing, or advertisement, or any other relevant field.

Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (12-20 pounds).

Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
