The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities, participates in shared decision making, unit committees, and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• New RN graduates are placed into the RN Residency Program.
• Intermediate computer skills:
  Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.
