RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• 13-week travel assignment with ASAP start date

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

• Minimum 2+ years of operating room experience required

• Must have experience and strength in Orthopedic, Neurological, Robotic, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology procedures

• Cerner EMR experience required

• CNOR certification preferred

• Expected to float between campuses as needed

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning

• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel

• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures, and supervising patient care personnel

• Provide patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies
