Grappino is looking for a Line Cook who enjoys working as part of a team. The Line Cook will prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation and garnishing standards.

To be a successful Line Cook, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations.

• Responsible for quality, quantity, consistency and timeliness of food preparation.
• Follow established recipe guidelines; ensuring the presentation, portion and use of garnishes are properly utilized.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and standards by memory.
• Follow and adhere to proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed.

• Line Cook experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Comply with all food and safety regulations.
