Position: Assistant GM for a busy restaurant in Naples FL

The Aielli Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will be challenged daily to deliver an exceptional dining experience while delegating and teaching a team in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires the ability to foster a positive team environment, develop employees, and drive performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage daily restaurant operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction; motivate staff to do the same.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain a positive restaurant culture.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service and steps of service practices.
  • Organize and supervise staff schedules, ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Promote the brand in the community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
  • Recommend methods for reaching a broader audience.
  • Maintain health and safety standards.
  • General administration.
  • Enforce workplace policies and protocols.

Leadership, Team Management & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in restaurant management.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge with the ability to recall ingredients to inform customers and waitstaff.
  • Wine knowledge: with ability to expand and grow wine knowledge.
  • Proven customer experience skillset and the ability to teach that skillset to staff.
  • Strong motivational, leadership and people skills.
  • Experience using restaurant management software.
  • Ability to represent our brand in a professional way.
