The Front-End Bagger plays an important role in creating a great customer experience at Oakes Farms. This position involves assisting customers by safely and efficiently bagging groceries, checking carts for remaining items, and helping take groceries to vehicles when needed.

Front-End Baggers interact with customers regularly, answer basic questions, and help keep the store clean and safe by assisting with light cleaning tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain customer service experience, build teamwork skills, and work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, fast, and efficient service at all times
• Bag groceries carefully and efficiently to prevent damage or breakage.
• Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when needed.
• Check carts for any remaining items to ensure accurate service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including basic cleaning duties.
• Follow company policies, safety, sanitation, dress code, and attendance standards.

• While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand and/or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• The associate is frequently required to bend, twist, reach, push and pull.
• The associate must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• The associate must be able to work with a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences.
• This position requires an associate to be able to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
