CMR Construction & Roofing is hiring experienced Foremen to lead field crews specializing in Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) Framing. This role is perfect for a hands‑on leader with deep technical knowledge and field experience in commercial construction. As a Foreman, you'll be the operational lead onsite—ensuring safety, craftsmanship, and coordination across framing installations while acting as the key liaison between field crews and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, lead, and mentor a field crew of CFS framers and supporting labor
  • Interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
  • Plan, lay out, and install CFS framing systems for walls, ceilings, and exteriors
  • Coordinate equipment needs and material deliveries, including skid steers and aerial lifts
  • Conduct daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and enforce OSHA protocols
  • Track and communicate project progress, timelines, and issues with PMs
  • Ensure all framing work meets required building codes and internal quality standards
  • Resolve onsite issues efficiently and maintain professionalism at all times
  • Complete daily and weekly paperwork (e.g., timecards, safety reports, change orders)
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial framing, including 2+ years as a foreman
  • Expertise in cold‑formed steel framing techniques and materials
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and layout planning
  • Strong leadership and field communication skills
  • Familiarity with equipment like forklifts and aerial lifts
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel to job sites for extended periods (up to 4 weeks)
  • Physically able to stand for 8–10 hours, lift 40–50 lbs, and perform moderate labor
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Strong math skills and tape measure accuracy
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning, labeling systems, or inventory software is a plus
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced setting

Work Schedule
  • Full‑Time:
