Job Summary

Our client in the public sector is seeking a Junior Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to support public safety communications systems, including Cisco telephony (VoIP/Unified Communications) and radio equipment. This entry‑level position is designed for individuals with limited hands‑on experience who have a strong interest in developing a career in mission‑critical telephony and public safety communications.

Candidates with experience in technical support, help desk, desktop support, or telecommunications assistance—and a desire to grow into a specialized public safety communications role—may be an excellent fit.

This position requires a split work schedule, with approximately 50% of time spent in the field providing on‑site support at facilities using a shared government operations vehicle, and 50% of time spent at an assigned office location performing system support, documentation, and administrative tasks.
