- Develop and lead safe, progressive exercise programs for individuals and groups.
- Conduct resident assessments, orientations, and track participation/progress.
- Maintain confidentiality of health records and resident files.
- Oversee fitness and pool operations, including equipment upkeep, safety standards, and supply management.
- Collaborate with health staff to support resident wellness and transitions.
- Provide health education and promote whole-person wellness across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
- Manage budgets, reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Physiology, or licensed PT/PTA.
- Current ACSM or NCCA-accredited fitness certification (ACE, NSCA, NCSF, Cooper Institute).
- Senior fitness/strength training certification.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
