Golfshop Concierge

Overview

The Golf Shop Concierge is a first point of contact for members, guests, and staff, either in person or over the phone. The Concierge will ensure a smooth operation within the Golf Shop as well as be the liaison between departments.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Concierge. While 1 year of golf shop experience is encouraged, strong candidates without direct experience will be considered if they demonstrate a passion for golf and excellent customer service skills.

• Greet all members, guests, and staff by name when they enter the Golf Pro Shop.
• Answer phones and direct calls, as needed. Assist with any questions or concerns.
• Organize and schedule appointments for members and their guests.
• Assist in the preparation of department reports.
• Update and maintain department policies and procedures as needed and as directed by the Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf.
• Maintain distribution/contact list for members, staff, and vendors.
• Provide overall general support for the members and their guests; exhibiting the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Promote the club's golf programs, events, and values to the membership.
• Relay important information to the management staff, including member and/or guest-related issues, equipment malfunctions, or staff concerns.
• Record Inventory for the shop and assist merchandisers to rearrange the golf shop when necessary.
• Assist with Tournament operations and event planning.
• Manage the Foretees online tee time system, including daily notes.
• Open and/or close the Golf Shop, as well as reconcile the daily sales activity.
• Manage Golf Shop marketing materials, including social media sites and fliers/postings via Canva.
• Act as Golf liaison will all departments within the club.
• All other duties as assigned.
