The Fitness Instructor leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of fitness and wellness programs for residents. This role ensures safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities while inspiring active participation in exercise and wellness activities.

• Develop and lead safe, progressive exercise programs for individuals and groups.
• Conduct resident assessments, orientations, and track participation/progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of health records and resident files.
• Oversee fitness and pool operations, including equipment upkeep, safety standards, and supply management.
• Collaborate with health staff to support resident wellness and transitions.
• Provide health education and promote whole-person wellness across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
• Manage budgets, reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Physiology, or licensed PT/PTA.
• Current ACSM or NCCA-accredited fitness certification (ACE, NSCA, NCSF, Cooper Institute).
• Senior fitness/strength training certification.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
