Charter School - Student Services Director

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the Student Services department to support inclusive, high-quality education for students with special needs. You will collaborate with administrators and staff to ensure compliant, effective programs, including SPED, SEL, and 504 services. You will shape a vision of student-centered support aligned with the school’s mission and philosophy, driving impactful outcomes for learners and families.

Retribuzione / Benefits Supervise student services staff

Assist with managing the department budget

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Coordinate logistics for student activities and events

Facilitate an inclusive model for student services based on best practices

Plan and implement all aspects of Student Services including special education, discipline, SEL programming, grant programs, and 504

Evaluate personnel and support administrative and professional staff to meet instructional goals of the district

Responsabilità

Bachelor's in School Administration, Special Education or related field and current FL Professional Educator Certification Five years of school administration experience preferred

Strong background in special education administration and instruction, including IEP development and evaluation

Experience with special education processes, procedures and legal requirements; evaluations of students and teachers

Strong background in social-emotional learning competencies and experience with SEL teams
