VEL - Fatigue Engineer

Experteer Overview  In this role you will apply fatigue and damage tolerance methods to aeronautics structures, guiding structural design and repair decisions. You will collaborate with loads, stress, design, labs, and materials teams to ensure safety and performance. You will tackle load spectra, crack growth, and structural health monitoring, translating results into actionable engineering outputs. This position offers exposure to cutting‑edge aerospace challenges within a global industrial group.

You will contribute to mission‑critical programmes while developing your technical and leadership capabilities.
Retribuzione / Benefits   Define load spectra using hand calculations and specialized tools
Perform fatigue analysis on metallic structures
Analyze crack propagation in metallic structures
Define test requirements and assess results
Provide engineering evaluation of test outcomes
Support structural repair of damaged structures
Contribute to Structural Health Monitoring initiatives
Responsabilità   

Experience with fatigue of materials, FEM and LEFM modeling (e.g., NASGRO), and load spectra generation
Programming skills in MATLAB and Python

Experience with testing standards and instrumentation
Good English; excellent Italian
Willingness to travel
