Quality Engineer

JAC Products is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Napoleon, Ohio
. In this role, you'll support continuous improvement efforts, ensure strong quality systems, and maintain process controls within the business unit. You’ll also implement corporate and plant-level quality procedures and ensure team members are trained and compliant with these standards.

• Advanced technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes such as:
  Assembly, extrusion, fabrication, etc.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control and how to use data to drive decisions.
• Advanced knowledge of OEM such as Subaru, Toyota or Honda quality standards, systems, and processes.
• Successful Product Launch / Production Start-up experience including all documentation, testing, data collection, and reporting.
• Experience leading the PPAP process to successful conclusion.
• Advanced knowledge and practical application of Problem Solving / Process Improvement analysis, tools, and techniques.
• Strong root cause analysis background such as 8D, 5
  
  Why, Fishbone, or Ishikawa.
• Advanced computer skills, including P.C. knowledge and current technology software familiarity.
• Provide guidance and support to Quality Engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or the equivalent/relevant experience preferred
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred
• Manufacturing Assembly experience preferred
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• Three (3) or more years’ experience in a relevant engineering discipline within a manufacturing environment
• Five (5) to eight (8) years in a quality focused engineering role preferred
