Responsibilities
The Echocardiographer is responsible for the performance of Echocardiograms, and Stress echocardiogram under indirect supervision of the cardiologist.
Qualifications2 - 4 year degree in cardiovascular technology from an accredited program is required. A BLS certification is required. Employee is required to be registered through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in echocardiography. Prior work experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
