Boardroom Retail Sales Associate

Warm Winds is actively hiring associate sales staff to join our hardgoods retail team. We are looking for energetic, positive, and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about the ocean and interested in the surfing lifestyle.

• Provide knowledgeable, enjoyable, and friendly service to customers.
• Assist customers in finding a product that meets their needs and skill level.
• Process sales transactions in a quick, accurate and personable manner.
• Maintain the store by keeping it clean and organized.
• Receive, check, and merchandise new product coming into the store.
• Restock product to the sales floor.
• Process phone and web orders.

• Above average surfboard and wetsuit knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date on the newest board models, fins, and other technical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize competing tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Expected to work weekends and some holidays.

Summer staffing challenges often occur during the key periods highlighted below. Applicants that commit to working both early season and throughout the back-to-school transition are preferred.

• May 15 – June 15 (pre/early season)
• June 16 - August 14
• August 15 – September 15 (back-to-school transition)
