Production Shift Incharge

Casual Labour Management:  Supervise and coordinate with shift casual laborers to ensure they are properly trained and productive
Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to production workers in different areas of the facility. Ensure proper division of labor across various production lines.
Monitor the progress and efficiency of the production process, identifying any potential bottlenecks.
Ensure that production targets for input (raw materials) and output (finished products) are achieved during the shift.
Production Yield Monitoring (IP/OP) :
Track and update the input (raw materials, ingredients) and output (finished pet food products) to ensure optimal production yield.
Hygiene & Sanitation :
Ensure that the production area adheres to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment to meet food safety regulations.
Oversee the cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.
Ensure proper waste management and disposal of any contaminants.
PPE Compliance:  Ensure all production staff are wearing the required PPE (gloves, hairnets, masks, etc.) as per safety guidelines.
Monitor adherence to safety protocols to minimize workplace injuries and contamination risks.
Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
Quality Control:
Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and product specifications.
Monitor critical control points during the production process to maintain product consistency and quality.
Shift Reporting:  Maintain accurate records and reports for the shift, including production yield, labor attendance, any incidents, and hygiene audits.
Communicate any shift-related issues or challenges to the Production Manager.
Conduct a handover at the end of the shift to ensure smooth continuity of operations.
