An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Lens Crafters seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Lens Crafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate of a Subleasing Doctor, you will operate within a private independent practice; terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours are negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing doctor.

Responsibilities / What you will do (as an Associate of a Subleasing Doctor): provide high quality optometric care and service to patients; practice full scope of optometry predicated on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor; participate in a private practice setting with autonomy in patient care decisions.

Practice model and benefits:
The Luxottica-affiliated practice operates with the optical dispensary managed by Luxottica and the Doctor’s office managed by the affiliated optometrist. This arrangement may include flexible scheduling (part-time commitments or adding to an existing practice schedule); a fully furnished office with a full OD equipment suite; advanced diagnostic tools such as digital eye examination technology (Clarifye); available Optomap retinal imaging and pre-testing support;

an automated online appointment book and patient recall system. Specific pay terms, schedules and bonuses are negotiated directly with the Subleasing doctor.

Compensation and benefits:
Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
