Summary Of Responsibilities
A Teacher in the Nashua School District delivers specified course content, uses effective differentiation strategies, interacts positively with students and parents, expects students to learn, actively engages students in lessons aligned to grade-level expectations, and enhances critical thinking skills. The teacher implements instructional strategies that create a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with peers to align curriculum and improve instructional environments toward student performance goals.
Professional obligations include ongoing learning, reflection on practice, and efficient planning, meeting deadlines, and honoring schedules.
