NCC Adjunct Faculty-Aviation Maintenance job at Community College
Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
We have a need for instructors for the following course(s) in our Aviation Department:For Fall of 2025 Freshmen Class
General Aviation Maintenance Topics ( Classes 1-2 days a week (6-7 hours), 16 weeks
- Full Term)
Powerplant Topics(Classes 1-2 Day a week (7-8 hours), 16 weeks
- Full Term)
Advanced Airframe Topics (Classes 1-2 Days a week 4-10pm, or Saturdays 8am-noon)
Minimum Qualifications EducationAssociate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering or related field.
ExperienceSix (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
License/CertificationFAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification
Preferred Qualifications /CertificationsFAA instructor experience, Recent Air Traffic Control experience, Adjunct Teaching experience.
The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
