From our southern NH campus, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Hardware Test Lead who wants to join an organization where teamwork is highly valued. You will be joining an Agile engineering team at a dynamic company that values technical excellence and a healthy work environment to design, develop, and produce the world’s most advanced electronics.
Responsibilities- Lead multi‑discipline, state‑of‑the‑art hardware teams of 10+ people through the hardware engineering design and development.
- Employ your expertise, decision skills, and independent judgment in technical areas.
- Lead Design Review activities to achieve program success.
- Communicate essential information and coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, operations, and program management.
- Develop program schedules, earned value criteria, and productivity metrics for efficient performance.
- Ensure the established Hardware Development Process is implemented successfully.
- Support important program capture and proposal teams with hardware baselines that include development and cost/scheduling estimating.
- Work with Discipline Section Leads to determine program staffing needs and “right person/right job”.
- BSEE or BSME with 6+ years engineering experience, with 2 years commensurate experience leading engineering teams.
- Possess technical leadership practices for multi‑disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state‑of‑the‑art electro‑mechanical products and hardware test equipment.
- Possess technical leadership practices to lead a team of disciplines which include Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Firmware (EE), Design Drafting (DD).
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance.
- Proven experience in implementing established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency.
- Possess sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
- Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates.
- Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties.
- Ability to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution.
- Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements and lead others to closure.
- Experience with design and development of products and services using state‑of‑the‑art engineering technologies, principles, theories, and concepts.
- Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
- Certification for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management techniques.
- Designing to cost (DTUPC) constraints.
- Designing for manufacturability.
- Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments.
- Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes.
- Experience with Electronic Warfare systems, radar systems.
- Active Secret Clearance.
