How you will make an impact:

As a Process Control Engineer supporting Technology Transfer, you will lead the controls engineering work needed to transfer, commission, validate, and stabilize manufacturing processes across our production sites. You will translate complex process requirements into reliable control strategies, integrate equipment and automation systems, and ensure transferred processes meet safety, quality, throughput, and operational-readiness requirements. Working across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, suppliers, and receiving-site teams, you will resolve startup challenges and establish the technical standards needed for a successful handoff.

Your work will directly build long-term site capability and support reliable, sustained production.

  • Own the process-control workstream for assigned technology-transfer projects from requirements definition through stable production and formal handoff.
  • Translate product, process, equipment, safety, and quality requirements into functional specifications, control narratives, alarm strategies, interlocks, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
  • Configure, program, integrate, or coordinate modifications to industrial control systems, including PLC/HMI platforms, instrumentation, drives, data acquisition, and machine-vision applications, as applicable.
  • Lead controls-related design reviews and technical decisions with internal stakeholders, equipment suppliers, integrators, and receiving-site teams; identify gaps and drive actions to closure.
  • Develop and execute commissioning, factory/site acceptance, verification, and validation activities; maintain objective evidence that systems perform as intended.
  • Diagnose complex startup and production issues using structured problem-solving and process data; determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor key process parameters and equipment performance during ramp-up; adjust control strategies and operating windows to improve stability, repeatability, yield, throughput, and quality.
  • Ensure controls changes comply with applicable safety, cybersecurity, quality, documentation, and change-control requirements; maintain current system backups and revision records.
