- Cardiology team delivers comprehensive heart care from prevention to advanced diagnostics
- RN Ambulatory role supports cardiovascular patients through collaborative care and education
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an ambulatory setting
- Triage cardiac symptoms (e.g., chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath) in-person and by phone
- Collaborate with cardiologists, APRNs, PAs, and other specialists to develop care plans
- Administer cardiac medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Assist with stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and other cardiac procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens
- Manage lab and diagnostic follow-ups
- Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyle, medication adherence, and chronic condition management
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- Monitor patients for changes and elevate care as needed
- Support safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency response
- Participate in ongoing training related to cardiology care and EPIC updates
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- RN license in NH, NLC state, or MA required
- BLS/CPR certification required
