Per Diem Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our critical care team for per diem night coverage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be comfortable managing acutely ill patients in a fast-paced environment during overnight hours.

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients during night shifts
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive medications, and other critical care interventions
• Respond to emergencies, codes, and rapid clinical changes
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience (ICU required)
• BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Per diem / part-time
• Night shifts only: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling based on departmental needs
