Food Service Assistant – Tier 3 (3.5 hours/day)

Fairgrounds Elementary School
School year: 2025 – 2026
Salary:
Minimum $15.84 per hour (dependent on experience and SNA Certification).

• Experience in food handling and cashiering desirable.
• Physically capable of walking, bending, standing for long periods, lifting and carrying objects weighing at least 50 pounds (with assistance).
• Ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning‑related products.

• Aid in preparation and serving of food.
• Handle money and count back change.
• Assist with clean‑up in food service areas and equipment.
• Familiar with sound safety and health practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
